Lengnau, Longeau in French, is the last Bernese village at the foot of the Jura before you cross into the canton of Solothurn and reach Grenchen. It's also a small rail junction: the Jura foot line between Biel and Solothurn meets the line that comes from Moutier through the Grenchenberg tunnel. What that means for you is simple: Biel is easy to reach by train, and our salon on Zentralstrasse 22 is only a few minutes' walk from Biel station.
Twelve kilometres, two easy options
The regional train leaves Lengnau station, stops in Pieterlen and runs straight into Biel, no change needed. From Biel station you walk over to Zentralstrasse and you're there. That makes it easy to combine a cut with a working day or some errands in town.
If you drive, follow the main road west along the foot of the Jura, through Pieterlen and on through Bözingen into the centre. Allow a generous 20 minutes and leave the car in one of the public car parks in the city centre. The A5 towards Biel is the other option. And if you're travelling on after your appointment, Biel station is the biggest rail hub in the region, so your next connection is right there.
What to book when you come from Lengnau
