Pieterlen, Perles in French, belongs to the Biel/Bienne administrative district and sits at the foot of the Jura between Biel and Grenchen. The Jura slopes rise to the north, while to the south the plain opens out towards the Seeland. Of all the villages east of Biel, Pieterlen is one of the closest: our salon on Zentralstrasse 22 is only about nine kilometres away. Biel is the natural place to go for anything a village doesn't have, and a proper men's haircut is on that list.

Pieterlen has its own station on the Jura foot line between Biel and Solothurn. The regional train runs straight to Biel station, and from there it's a few minutes on foot to the salon. No changes, and no hunting for a parking space.

If you drive, follow the main road west along the foot of the Jura and come into central Biel through Bözingen. Allow a generous quarter of an hour and leave the car in one of the public car parks in the city centre. Zentralstrasse is a short walk from there.

We're open Monday to Wednesday from 9am to 7pm, Thursday and Friday until 8pm, and Saturday from 8:30am to 6pm. Sundays we're closed. If you work in Biel, an appointment right before you head home to Pieterlen often works well. On a Saturday morning, you can get the cut done before the day really gets going.
